Mechanical

AEED, Inc.'s Mechanical Engineering project experience includes commercial, industrial, residential, as well as government and medical facilities. Our mechanical experience includes design of Commercial/Industrial HVAC, Smoke Control and Piping/Pumping Systems, as well as Process Cooling/Heating, Exhaust/Ventilation Systems, Sprinkler Systems and Indoor Air Quality Control.

Electrical

AEED, Inc. has a proven track record of designing cost-effective electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. We also specialize in meeting the complex electrical demands of our customers, including redundancy, clean power, and alternate energy source applications. Our electrical engineering team is comprised of several talented professionals with a hands-on proficiency in Power Distribution, Lighting Design, Fire Systems and Alarms, Life Safety, Data/Communications, Security, Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Selective Coordination Studies.

NFPA 70E Compliance
NFPA 70E is an electrical safety standard that addresses electrical safety requirements for employee workplaces and covers the full range of electrical safety issues, including safety related work practices, maintenance, special equipment requirements and installation.

NFPA 70E states that electrical panels in industrial facilities that are likely to be worked on while energized “shall be field marked with a label indicating the incident energy available, or the rating of needed protective clothing in calories per square centimeter (cal/cm2) to warn qualified persons of potential electric arc flash hazards and to aid in the selection of flame resistant clothing and other personal protective equipment (PPE). The label shall be located so as to be clearly visible to qualified persons before examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance of the equipment.”

AEED, Inc has a certified Electrical Engineering Team that can conduct an Arc Flash Hazard Analysis of your company’s electrical system. We use ETAP software that will perform the highly complex calculations per NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584 to determine levels of PPE required for your facility. We provide computer generated labels for field marking of devices, all of which bring our customers into compliance, based on the OSHA standards.

Plumbing

As consultants, our unbiased evaluation of design and process provides our clients with efficient and cost effective workable solutions to their often complex plumbing needs. Our plumbing professionals are experienced in the design of Waste/Drain/Vent Systems, Water Distribution, Process Sewer Systems, Lift Stations, Sewage Treatment Systems, and Irrigation Systems.

Fire Protection

Our fire protection engineering professionals can assess risks and design safeguards that aid in preventing, controlling, and mitigating the effects of fires.  We work with the architects and owners to evaluate life safety and property protection goals. Our experience includes building design and space planning; fire suppression systems, life safety and alarms; smoke and fire barriers; smoke control and egress studies.
